It’s a magazine series about Chinese Zodiacs and animals. There are totally 12 issues based on the corresponding 12 different Chinese zodiacs. They are aimed to make more people around the world understand more about Chinese traditional culture and different animals.

It was a project which I have done in my university for the class Editorial Design. We were asked to design layouts for a fictional magazine.
In Chinese traditional culture, there are 12 Chinese Zodiacs in a round. Every year has a corresponding animal from Chinese zodiac culture. For instance, 2022 would be a tiger year. Therefore, there are a total of 12 issues of C.Z (Chinese Zodiac) magazine based on 12 Chinese zodiacs. Each issue has a different theme with a unique animal. One issue per year and focuses on the corresponding Chinese zodiac animal.
The goal was to promote an open exchange of ideas and information of Chinese traditional culture.
Traditional cultures seemed to be gradually less aware in this fast-growing epoch with new information and technologies. It was also good to let more people worldwide know about them to promote the cultural exchange. C.Z magazine introduced 12 Chinese zodiacs by informing of different corresponding animals to attract more readers to understand the relationship between cultures and animals.
